Program Overview

A comprehensive 24-week training program covering fundamentals to applications in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with hands-on exposure. This program is primarily aimed at enhancing UG academic programs with relevant and updated AI Skills.

  • Students from engineering backgrounds
  • Students from AICTE-approved technical institutions
  • Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
  • Basic programming knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory

Who will be teaching the course?

Sessions are delivered by experienced faculty members with expertise in AI/ML and real‑world applications.

Will there be teaching assistants available for doubt-clearing sessions?

Yes, dedicated teaching assistants will support participants throughout the program.

What is the expected time commitment?

Plan for 3 hours every Sunday for lectures and 2 hours for hands-on labs, and project-based learning weekly once to gain maximum benefit.

Is placement support provided?

Internship opportunities may be offered based on performance in the course.

Will I receive a certificate at the end of the course?

Yes. A graded Certificate of Competency will be awarded upon successful completion from iHub-Data.

How will I be evaluated?

Continuous weekly evaluation. There is no separate final exam.

Should I do any preparation before the program starts?

The program is beginner-friendly, and a preparatory session will be conducted at the beginning. However, revising basic Python, linear algebra, and probability concepts will help participants follow the sessions more effectively.

When will the classes be conducted?

Classes will be held every Sunday from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

What if I miss a class?

We recommend attending all sessions to avoid gaps in learning.

What is the language of instruction?

All sessions are conducted in English. Basic proficiency is required.

Are there any communication groups?

Yes. A Discord channel will be set up for interaction and discussion.

What should I do if I face an issue during registration?

Email your registered email ID, application number, and a screenshot of the issue to faheema.vv@ihub-data.iiit.ac.in.

Is there an attendance policy?

Yes. Maintain at least 75% attendance to be eligible for the certificate.

Is hostel accommodation available for participants of the training program?

Paying Guest (PG) hostels for boys/girls are available close to the campus. The classes are conducted only for two hours per week. Food is also available at the IIIT Hyderabad canteens and mess facilities inside the campus on a payment basis.

Who will issue the certificate?

The certificate will be issued by iHub‑Data, IIIT Hyderabad.

I am a teacher in a technical institute. Can I join this course ?

For faculty, appropriate courses could be discovered on Coursera or SWAYAM/NPTEL.

Can the classes be shifted to Sundays ?

This course was scheduled to be on all Sundays from 9am to 11am.

I am unable to make payment. The UPI interface shows that the receiver has reached the maximum limit. How can I enroll?

In such cases, you may submit a crossed cheque in person on any Saturday or Sunday to Mr. Mulkalla Pavan.
