International Advanced Summer School on NLP (IASNLP-2025)

The 13th Advanced Summer School on NLP (IASNLP) was held at IIIT Hyderabad from June 13 to June 28, 2025. This year’s theme, Multimodal NLP: Bridging Speech and Text, brought together researchers and students eager to explore cutting-edge research in combining speech and text for enhanced language technologies, especially in multilingual and Indian language contexts.

The event kicked off with a two-day pre-summer school session, offering foundational concepts for participants from diverse backgrounds. The main program featured a balanced format of expert lectures and hands-on project work. Topics ranged from speech technologies (ASR, TTS, multilingual systems) and multimodal NLP techniques, to applications like conversational AI and cross-modal knowledge transfer.
