13th Workshop on Excitement of Research – March 9, 2025

The 13th Workshop on Excitement of Research, held on March 9, 2025, as part of IIIT Hyderabad’s annual R&D Showcase, was a day filled with research-driven excitement. The workshop provided students with an opportunity to engage with the vibrant research ecosystem at IIITH through keynote addresses by eminent faculty, interactive research presentations, and insightful discussions on the relevance of research in industry.

The event was enriched by the presence of distinguished speakers. It commenced with an inaugural and welcome address by Prof. P J Narayanan and Prof. Jawahar C V, setting the tone for an inspiring day of discussions.

Dr. Vishnu Sreekumar and Dr. Parameswari K shared their faculty stories, reflecting on their academic journeys and how they became part of IIITH. Dr. Vinod P K highlighted the various research opportunities available for students at the PG and PhD levels, while Dr. Raju C K provided insights into research affiliate programs leading to internships.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Aftab Hussain, the organizer of EXOR, who expressed gratitude to all the speakers and participants for making the workshop a success.
