Intel® Unnati Grand Challenge – Summer 2023 Winners’ Internship at IIIT, Hyderabad
The Intel® Unnati Grand Challenge – Summer 2023 is an initiative aimed at fostering innovation and collaboration in the realm of mobility technology. It serves a platform for students from diverse academic backgrounds to showcase their problem-solving skills and innovative ideas. Participants in the program engage with real-world mobility datasets provided by Intel India, leveraging their expertise in Python programming and Deep Learning fundamentals. Through two phases of competition, teams address specified problem statements and propose solutions based on the India Driving Dataset (IDD).
The top three winning teams of the challenge earn the opportunity to participate in an immersive internship experience at IIIT Hyderabad. Under the guidance of experienced mentors and faculty members from IIIT Hyderabad, interns engage in mobility projects, gaining valuable insights into cutting-edge technologies and their practical applications.
The internship commenced on 13th January 2024. The initial two weeks of the internship took place offline at IIIT Hyderabad, followed by another four-week period where interns worked remotely. During this period, they will further solidify their skills and contribute to impactful projects, ensuring their continued growth and development in the realm of mobility technology.
